Dixie Glaze -- How to apply to your designs
- Dixie Belle Glaze (available in 9 colors & 2 sizes). Glaze creates depth and definition to your projects. Best way to age furniture. This is a great product to use in detailed pieces.
- Supplies:
- Dixie Belle Mineral Chalk Paint, 8 oz, 16 oz or 32 oz
- Dixie Belle Flat Brush
- Glaze
- Gator Hide or Clear Top Coat
- Applicator Pad
- After your piece is painted with Dixie Belle Mineral Chalk Paint & completely dry for 24 hours, apply Clear Coat or Gator Hide to your piece. This is going to allow glaze to move. Allow your topcoat to completely dry
- You can certainly apply glaze on top of your painted piece without the top coat, you will get a different look and glaze will reveal more paint when you remove it.
- Dip brush in in glaze. Apply all over in area you wish to add depth to. Apply in continuous one direction method.
- While Glaze is still wet, take soft cloth and wipe off excess.
- One Glaze is dry, you can add Gator Hide or Clear Coat of your choice.
